EMpower Sports is aimed at supporting and developing equipment to help disabled people benefit from the same opportunities and enjoyment in football that others take for granted.
Co-founder Christopher Betts has a wealth of experience working with disabled footballers and is a representative of Holland and the University of Teesside in disabled football. His business partner, David Hughes, is a Mechanical Engineer with many years experience. Together they are working closely with a design and product engineering specialist from the University to ensure their specially-designed wheelchair designs meet the high standards needed for the NHS andWheel Chair Football Association product approval.
