Shirt by Garbeau is a made to measure tailoring service aimed primarily (although not exclusively) at professional sportsmen who find it difficult to get shirts that fit due to their body shape and size.
Access is gained to customers by targeting professional sports clubs offering a service to individually measure and tailor the post match shirts, which clubs provide for their players and management team. During the ten minute consultation with each individual, body measurements are taken along with contact details and date of birth. Players are informed of the full service that Shirt by Garbeau can offer them as individual customers and are advised on how to order the shirts online.
Shirt by Garbeau maintains contact with individual customers with a regular news letter and repeat orders can be made by using the companys website. Contact with the professional sport clubs is developed using the contacts of one of the directors -professional rugby player Michael McCarthy. Jessica McLean is the main shareholder and the company has three directors in total.
Shirt by Garbeau is now able to offer made to measure suits and accessories such as ties and cuff links.
