Sporting Health
Sporting Health is based within Northumbria University and offers
comprehensive health screening and health management services. We are committed to optimising health and well being, and maximising quality of life and performance, through accurate diagnosis of common health disorders. We also offer exercise-based health management programs to improve the risk profile and daily living capacity of people with health-related concerns.
Currently, Sporting Health focuses upon the diagnosis and management of exercise-induced asthma and allergy in the athletic and general population and is supported by AllergyUK and UK Sport. At Sporting Health we are determined that all diagnostic methods and health management advice is informed by science and research.
