Agro Chemicals
Nanoparticles are clusters of atoms with a size between 10 million (1 × 10-7 m) and 1 billion (1 × 10-9 m) times smaller than a metre. Due to their small size, a high surface to volume ratio is observed which can increase the activity of the product, improve economics and reduce the levels of product needed.
We are in the process of developing a generic nanoparticle product that can act to increase crop well being through enhanced nutrient uptake while at the same time protecting crops from land contamination and pathogenic bacteria. This product will be sold to the Californian agricultural market which is valued at approximately 37 billion dollars per annum.
Due to the core technology being developed, we believe that it will be possible to create a range of products that can specifically target different market requirements.
